A door lies before you. Unassuming and unlocked.
It being unlocked may be either a good or a bad sign… Batsheva mentioned her suspicion and being one who often falls into paranoid thinking, he wonders if traps lie ahead, prepared to catch any raiders in the act… But no way to know until they go in, huh… Though noticing Jesse following after him, he does have to mutter a warning to them.
“..Stay behind me… there might be a trap…” :acintense:
And so Fakir will slowly open the door, first peering inside without stepping in, if possible. Does he see anything as is?
Dude your shinobi training … it’s all been for this….
Peeking inside, Fakir sees a dark storage room. There are plenty of typical crates and barrels, but also a number of chests of varying design.
The wrapped of guard was set in the hall, leaned against the wall till they…… know what to do with this guy…….. yeah just……… sit there………
Unbuttoning this stupid shirt halfway cause, as was detailed, it’s a bit tight in the chest area, Jesse made sure to nod at Fakir. He knew what he was doing.
Holding their breath as the other opened the door, they waited for him to open it all the way- it looked a bit dark in there though… Hm.
“What do you see?”
Looks normal enough… but he knows better than anyone that looks can be deceiving. Maybe he should toss something inside… but what if whatever might activate a potential trap requires the weight of a human?
He looks back at Jesse. “Looks like a storage room… for something…” He pauses, glancing at the officer that was set on the floor. “..Is he dead already..? I want to borrow him.”
“Huh?” They look down at the officer for a second, not really having an idea what he’s needed for though… “He’s alive… you- can borrow him though…….. if you still have that first aid kit.” They hold out their hand for it.
