come on out paganini :lazanimal:
:noelanimal:
And would you look at that… Entering the church reveals it brighter than yesterday, full sunlight streaming in through the grand windows. The choir is still practicing, but it looks like they’re reading over a new song. The person at the organ is playing instead, keeping silence at bay in the stone walls.
A notably different figure sits in the pews, jotting down some notes. He has his head turned away from you for now, with merely a head of black hair and a stole over his shoulders. OST: uncreative sorry https://youtu.be/O_sd_uZUE5k?si=I85DOypMxO0ukMEh
“Bet that’s out guy,” he mutters to Noel before walking ahead to get the person’s attention. “Father Paganini?”
brother lazare, i think the priest is actually a dragon
Noel spends a few seconds admiring the choir, then makes his way down the aisle, or whichever way is unobstructed without any regard for whatever’s going on, but it’s fine because seemingly his captain’s just as crass. While approaching the priest, his eyes glance from one place to another- even checking if there happen to be any extra booklets on the pews with the song lyrics written or something.
He sits a little straighter, turning to look at you before he replies. The man himself is younger than you might have expected (this is not an Elazar situation), though there’s still creases on his face enough to know he’s older than both of you, at least physically. “In the flesh, my friend.” He stands, addressing you both properly. A pause, noting your choice of clothing. “You must have travelled far to come here. I welcome you both.” A hand to his chest, and a bow.
There are indeed hymn books Noel, though I can tell you there’s not much more to glean from them by now unless you want to steal one just to be evil or whatever.
STEAL? Never. :manlynoel: He’d only be ‘borrowing’ any that had been set aside, but guess he’ll be focusing more on the priest now. “Thank you Father-” Noel bows, then does the equivalent to the sign of the cross, unsure how he should greet him, before letting Lazare do the rest of the speaking.
………. :damgamanimal: What a normal looking guy!
“Yeah, thanks. It’s a nice place,” he rushedly dismisses the greetings hoping to cut to the chase though does his best to remain otherwise amicable. “I was hoping to learn some stuff. I heard the Goddess touched the land somewhere here. How long ago was that? It’s a pretty interestin’ claim.”
